DTF Heat Pressing Instructions

THIS IS A GUIDE BASED ON OUR HEAT PRESS. ALL PRESSES MAY VARY AND WE RECOMMEND A TRIAL PRESS FOR FIRST TIME USERS.

  1. Pre-Press the Garment:
    Begin by pre-pressing the garment for 5 seconds at 150°C to eliminate moisture and smooth out wrinkles, ensuring optimal transfer adhesion.

  2. Apply the DTF Transfer:
    Position the DTF transfer film on the garment in the desired location. Cover with a Teflon sheet, then press at 150°C with medium to high pressure for 10 seconds.

  3. Peeling options:
    - For a hot peel, quickly and evenly remove the transfer film immediately after pressing
    - For a cold peel, allow the transfer to cool completely before peeling off the film.

  4. Post-Press (Recommended):
    Cover the design again with a Teflon or parchment sheet and re-press for an additional 10 seconds to enhance durability and finish.

How to apply UVDTF

  1. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
  2. Carefully peel the backing off the UVDTF transfer film. ( bit by bit on full wraps)
  3. Place the transfer where you want it, adhesive side down. Press lightly to position.
  4. Use a squeegee or scraper to press the design firmly, removing any bubbles.
  5. Slowly peel off the top layer, making sure the design adheres to the surface.
  6. Allow the design to set undisturbed for 24 hours for best adhesion.
